Administration

Admin accounts manage the BillTracker service. The bootstrap admin is separated from personal financial data and cannot use user tracker routes.

This page is the index for everything under the Admin Guide tab. The linked pages cover the day-to-day, how to add users, how to configure authentication, and how to tune the security settings.

Use the Run It Day to Day guide for routine checks, backup handling, cleanup behavior, and incident response.

Admin Panel

Area Purpose
Email notifications SMTP, sender, global recipient, and per-user notification options
Bank sync Enable SimpleFIN and configure interval and lookback
Backup management Create, import, restore, download, delete, and schedule backups
Cleanup Remove stale import sessions, temporary exports, partial backups, and optional import history
Login mode Choose multi-user or single-user mode
Authentication methods Keep local login, configure OIDC, and test provider settings
Users Add users, reset passwords, change roles, and activate or delete accounts
